According to the Navajo County Public Health Services District (NCPHSD), the individuals affected were unimmunized and share a common thread: a recent history of international travel. Authorities have indicated that the cases are linked, with all individuals exposed through a single source.

"Staff at NCPHSD are working closely with ADHS to monitor these cases and any additional that may arise," she stated. "Anyone who believes they may have been exposed or is experiencing symptoms consistent with measles should contact their healthcare provider immediately for evaluation and testing."
